About
Anna Orchard is a Sydney based mixed media Artist who enjoys transforming unwanted objects, typically destined for landfill, into canvases for finely detailed artworks. Each artwork reflects her love of colour and the beauty of Australian native flora and fauna but also has a whimsical component. She is incredibly fortunate to have a studio which has a stunning backdrop of large Sydney Angophora and other native trees, birdlife and animals from which I draw her inspiration. Anna is also a firm believer that beauty can be found everywhere, if you look hard enough.
Having recently retired from a 40-year career working as a drama-based Teaching Artist and Occupational Therapist, Anna now has the pleasure of expressing how she feels about the world through her artwork.
